Hello!
So, the Chinese New Years just passed. This meant that we had a lovely long weekend. Dan and I went to our friend Linda's house Friday night. We drank and played our favorite board game, "Settlers of Catan". Super awesome!
Saturday we hung out, had some good eats here at the house. Then Dan and I went to Ilsan, a nearby city and had some Pizza Hut (delicious, cause it has sweet potato and cheese in the crust!). Then we saw the movie "The Bridge to Terabithia", or something like that. It's the sequel to "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"... umm, yeah... it's a kids movie, with not much for cool fantasy stuff and I ended up crying for the last 15 minutes of the movie, cause it was sad... great!
Sunday we hung out at Dan and Leah's, with Linda too (played more Sets, which is what we call Settlers of Catan now) and then all 5 of us went to Seoul to party it up. We met my friend Chantel there and hung out in an area called Itaewon... it's the foreigners end of town. It was good.
All the Koreans at some point during the weekend bowed to their elder family members, received money from those that they bowed to and celebrated the new year with family and good food.
We were sad to return to work today, but it's a short week and we had a great weekend!
